The Hollywood Foundation is thrilled to announce the success of the Limpopo Bambelela Business Awards, a three-day event dedicated to honoring and supporting local businesses in Limpopo.

This year’s awards highlighted the incredible hard work and contributions of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMMEs) within the community.

Kicking off the festivities, Day 1 featured an engaging workshop designed for SMMEs to connect, network, and seek guidance as they prepared for the subsequent exhibition and seminar. This collaborative environment set the stage for fruitful discussions and partnerships.

Day 2 saw the vibrant exhibition of SMMEs, along with insightful panel discussions and elevator pitches that provided invaluable exposure and networking opportunities for the participating businesses. Entrepreneurs showcased their innovations and services, garnering attention from stakeholders and partners invested in their success.

The grand finale took place on Day 3 with an elegant Gala Dinner at the Meropa Casino and Entertainment World. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of R1,000,000 in prizes awarded to 20 deserving businesses. Winners received varied grants, including R40,000 for 17 businesses, R70,000 for third place, R100,000 for second place, and the grand prize of R130,000.

The Limpopo Bambelela Business Awards not only celebrated the achievements of local entrepreneurs but also reinforced the significant role SMMEs play in driving economic growth and community development.

The Hollywood Foundation looks forward to continuing its support for these dynamic businesses and the vital contributions they make to the Limpopo region.
