Mobile sports betting revenue in Kentucky saw year-on-year and month-on-month growth in April, although the retail betting sector presented a more mixed picture.
According to the latest figures from the Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation, online betting revenue rose 3.6 per cent year-on-year to US$23.2 million, up from $22.4 million in April 2024. Compared to the previous month, revenue increased by 22.9 per cent from March’s $18.9 million.
In contrast, retail betting revenue grew 14.7 per cent year-on-year to $524,750 but declined 10.3 per cent from March’s total of $584,853.
Overall, combined betting revenue across retail and online operators reached $23.7 million in April — an increase of 3.8 per cent year-on-year from $22.8 million.
