Revenue from LatAm surged 70.3% to a record €74.5m, boosted by all-time high deposits and expansion in Argentina and Peru.
Betsson has reported a strong start to 2025, with group revenue rising 18.3% year-on-year to €293.7m in Q1, fuelled by record customer deposits and exceptional growth in Latin America.
Revenue from LatAm surged 70.3% to a record €74.5m, boosted by all-time high deposits and expansion in Argentina and Peru. Betsson also secured a full licence in Brazil in March, a major milestone in its LatAm strategy.
“Latin America continues to be an important growth region where we are continuously strengthening our positions,” said CEO Pontus Lindwall.
“Betsson’s ambition is to create long-term stable profit growth through geographical diversification and growth initiatives in existing and new markets.”
Despite global economic uncertainty, Lindwall remains optimistic, noting that demand for online gaming has historically been resilient during downturns.
Casino remained Betsson’s core revenue driver, up 17.6% to €212.3m, while sportsbook revenue grew 21.6% to €79.7m, with an improved margin of 8%.
Regional performance was mixed:

Central and Eastern Europe revenue rose 11% to €122.3m,

Western Europe grew 28.1% to €55.6m,

Nordics declined 19.3% to €37.8m.
- EBITDA rose 8.5% to €77.7m, while net profit climbed 13.1% to €48.4m.
“With a scalable, global business model and proprietary products and technology, we are well positioned for continued profitable growth,” Lindwall added.
