AGOK, as a sponsor of the initiative, reaffirmed its commitment to responsible gaming. Sasa Krneta,AGOK Chairman highlighted the association’s role in supporting the campaign: “We are proud to stand alongside BCLB in this vital effort. Through our partnership, we are not only raising awareness on responsible gaming but also providing tangible support to communities, such as the food assistance program for families in South B.”
Dr. Makau commended AGOK for its collaboration, noting, “The gaming industry’s willingness to embrace ethical practices and social accountability is a positive sign of its evolution. This campaign reflects our shared commitment to the well-being of Kenyans.”
The gaming sector remains a significant contributor to Kenya’s economy, having paid over Ksh24 billion in taxes last year and created more than 10,000 direct jobs, with indirect benefits to at least 500,000 Kenyan citizens.
