Tidey brings nearly two decades of experience in international trade, investment, and gaming, along with deep expertise in Brazil’s regulatory landscape.
DigiPlus Interactive Corp. is ramping up its presence in Brazil’s booming iGaming sector with the appointment of Graham Tidey as country manager for its subsidiary, DigiPlus Brazil Interactive Ltda. Effective March 1, 2025, Tidey brings nearly two decades of experience in international trade, investment, and gaming, along with deep expertise in Brazil’s regulatory landscape.
Chairman Eusebio Tanco emphasized the strategic move:
“Brazil represents one of the most significant opportunities in global iGaming, and we are investing in the right people to ensure our success. Graham Tidey’s expertise in Latin America, proven leadership in regulatory navigation, and track record in driving strategic growth make him the ideal choice to lead our expansion.”
Previously, Tidey advised major gaming firms like DraftKings and Bally’s at MarketLaunch and led regulatory efforts for the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) in Brazil. His earlier career as a British consul further solidified his understanding of the region. Now a Brazilian national, Tidey is set to focus on compliance, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.
“DigiPlus is committed to responsible expansion, and I am looking forward to creating shareholder value by fostering innovation, expanding market reach, and building a strong and sustainable business in this region,” Tidey stated.
DigiPlus has secured a gaming license from Brazil’s Ministry of Finance, enabling it to operate online sports betting, electronic games, and live gaming studios. With an initial investment of €10.9 million, the company is poised for a strong market entry under Tidey’s leadership.
